Some companies need a month closed before a call like this is worth having, and that gets said rather than worked around. Where the real need is a signed report, the pointer goes outward straight away.

A login is not a license

A call that ends on one decision is ordinary work, and the person on the screen holds no CPA license. A signed audit, review, compilation or assurance report belongs at another desk, and you'll be told that while the agenda is still on the screen rather than after an invoice.
